I might be getting a throat infection again. My throat's been hurting and I've had slight fever. I've been taking medicines and so I'm not too sick. I was in horrible pain about a week ago. My wisdom tooth was coming in. It was swollen and one side of my face shape is oval, but thanks to the wisdom tooth, only one side of my face was square-jawed.
The pain was less for 2 days. On the 2nd night it became awful and unbearable. I couldn't take it. I was up for like 3-4 hours at night. Yes, I cried. It hurt too bad. When I woke up the next morning, it was horribly swollen. My dad took me to the dentist. I hadn't been to the dentist for quite some time now, so it was kind of like a reunion. He was excited to see me. He was like, "Oh, HI!! How are you?! It's been a long time! You've brightened up a lot! ........ There's something funny about your face." I was like, "Yeah, it's SWOLLEN!" Lol. What a funny guy.
He said it was definitely my wisdom tooth coming in but there isn't enough space for it. Or for any of the 4 wisdom teeth, for that matter. So I'm going to have to get all 4 of them extracted. It seems pretty normal and I'm not really terrified. I've had a tooth extracted before and a lot of people have had their wisdom teeth extracted, as I've read online. So I'm not too worried. I am, however, concerned about the post-surgery effects. That's why I'm trying to delay it. My current semester doesn't end for another 4-5 weeks. I'm hoping one of these smartass teeth don't decide to show up again soon.
